Just like all life is energy, vitality is the ability to have energy. With energy everything in life becomes real and possible. Finding out the most optimal ways we can create energy is our quest.
Our cells are greatly related to our state of vitality. We have over 75 trillion cells in our bodies every given time. This almost infinite number of powerhouses, is what keeps us energized and alive. When they are thriving, we perform at our best. There are three basic elements for cells to thrive. First, is the most basic source of all energy, which is oxygen. Secondly, nutrients and third the ability to eliminate the first two. There is a theory from experiments conducted by Dr. Alexis Carrel which shows how cells were kept alive indefinitely in petri dishes if its supply of these three basic needs were met.
The fastest way to create energy? Take a deep breath! Every breath contains more air by weight than would be eaten at a typical meal, and we are taking thousands of breaths a day. The richest blood flow is in the lower lungs, when this area fails to be adequately ventilated with air, we end up under-oxygenated. You can over eat because you are taking enough deep diaphragmatic breaths. The proper amount of oxygen allows the cell to produce ATP (adenosine triphosphate) that fuels the body, ATP is used in the body for energy. The goal is creating health on a cellular level, and that happens when the cycle for creation of ATP correctly and fully completes within the cell. Furthermore, the lymph fluid bathes every cell in the body, and the lymph system is controlled by the lungs and our breaths. As long as it is able to flow and be kept clean the immune system is strong. Pain is also associated with lack of oxygen in any given area of the body.
To provide the cells with the correct nourishment, a great part of our diet should consist of water rich foods. This diet of food intake are inherently cleansing and not clogging to the body. It is always smart to evaluate if what you are eating is gonna cleanse you or clog you. That which will provide you with electrolytes that dissolve in water, disassociate into positively and negatively charged ions, bringing electricity into to blood stream. Drinking spring water, eating the good quality fats, low sugar fruits and vegetables with good supplementation will make sure your body has all the nourishment it needs.
The accumulation of toxins in our blood stream causes cells to die. Toxins that decrease oxygen and disturb the electrical field of the cell. Guaranteeing the elimination of toxins is a big avenue of energy. Since the body doesn’t have to figure out what to do with strange elements it has in its system. We have four avenues for eliminating toxins. The first is our biggest organ, the skin. Keeping it clean from dead cells using a skin brush helps its ability of elimination. Then there are the lungs, bowels and urine track. All which are maintained through correct nutrition.
If there are more toxins coming in then the body is able to eliminate, disease settles in. For anything we ingest two things can occur, the it can either be assimilated or eliminated. All the rest are toxins in the system. Going for a period of detoxification is a part of healthy yearly maintenance. Being a good period in the fall when nature itself is clearing the leaves for the coming spring.
Moreover, the human body is designed to develop and maintain itself through motion and the right structural support. When it is properly aligned, energy flows through it. Exercise can never be underestimated, since the whole universe is in constant motion so should we. Doing yoga, inversions, capoeira, lifting weights. Getting you body moving however suits your fancy. It is a must. Anybody who is physically fit have this energy, this vitality. You can see it in their eyes, their faces and their skin. Through awareness we can achieve perpetual health and vitality. What counts is action. Start now. Take a deep breath and go for a run.
